 We're otaku culture enthusiasts from Austin, TX, dedicated to making manga more accessible in our community by creating Austin's first manga café by Q2 of 2026.

A massive manga library combined with a traditional café menu that's open 24/7 with public and private reading spaces to relax and unwind in.

Manga can be quickly read and can quickly take up too much space leading to a high rate of re-sale to recover cost and reclaim space.  We hope to be a more convenient, cost-effective alternative not only for reading at scale, but for exploring new series without spending a ton to do so.

Our mission is to create an authentic Japanese experience in Austin, TX, by bringing a unique business model that doesn’t exist anywhere else in North America to life. We aim to offer lovers of Japan and otaku culture a place where they feel transported to Japan, while also giving Japanese ex-pats a taste of home. Our goal is to preserve and uplift otaku culture, sharing it with Austenite's of all backgrounds

In the next 5 years, we envision Isekai ATX becoming home to North America’s largest collection of English and Japanese manga, establishing ourselves as a global destination for lovers of Japanese otaku culture. We aim to be as iconic as Kinokuniya or Kura Sushi locally, offering a top-notch experience with food and drink.
